From Devizes it is a straight run north: the A361 to Beckhampton, then the A4361 past Avebury and up through Wroughton into the south west of Swindon. Windmill Hill Business Park sits just off junction 16 of the M4, and the drive takes around 35 to 40 minutes. There is no need to touch the town centre.
What you get at the end of the drive is the same wherever you are tested in our group: a pre-test interview that settles every question before anything is recorded, a controlled examination in a private meeting room, an examiner trained to police standards in interviewing, and a written report with the charts inside 24 hours.
By car: A361 north to Beckhampton, A4361 through Wroughton, then follow signs for M4 junction 16 and Whitehill Way, around 35 to 40 minutes from Devizes, with paid parking onsite.
By train: Devizes has no station. Chippenham is the nearest with a direct service to Swindon, and the office is about 15 minutes by taxi from Swindon station.
Recommended office: Regus House, Windmill Hill Business Park, just off M4 junction 16. Exact directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
Set 40 minutes each way against however long the argument has already gone on. The test takes one disputed issue and answers it with recorded charts, scored to American Polygraph Association standards and explained in a written report. For most people that trade is an easy one.
Photo ID and yourself, rested and fed as normal. Take prescribed medication as usual and avoid alcohol for 24 hours before. The exact questions are agreed in the pre-test interview at the office, so there is nothing to prepare in advance beyond knowing what the issue is.
Devizes has no polygraph office of its own. The nearest permanent one is ours at Windmill Hill Business Park in Swindon, around 40 minutes north by car with parking onsite. The room is the same every week, the examiner works to published standards, and you see the result before you drive home.
